Sweet yellow sunrise....bloodshot eyes
turn my whole world blue
rain from another time falling
into slippery greased nothings
of tomorrow
siver streak break me once again
take me once again
and the skies burn like wildfire
no clouds here....

floating ...
comfortable oblivion...

shades of damnation
follow the tracks
of yesterday
where the silver thorn
pierces ancient scars
and the rose blooms
into ambrosia
to disappear into
the trembling flesh
from whence it came....
and the war is over
and the battle lost
but the spoils go
to the captive...
